ARCM-SAM is the AIG Regional Cooperation Mechanism for South America. It has the mission of “supporting States in all aspects related to the investigation of aviation accidents and incidents”.

Through collaboration between States and agencies responsible for the air system at its various levels, ARCM promotes the standardization and harmonization of regulations, requirements, procedures and methods in order to adopt industry best practices and contribute to the development Safe and orderly aviation in the world.

Discussion on the role of women in the aviation sector

JIAAC president, Pamela Suárez, delivered a speech at the Women Aviation Leaders Meeting, held on February  28th, 2018 in Mexico City, in which she underscored the importance of gender diversity in the development and growth of the aviation sector in general.
