JIAAC is organizing a new edition of its traditional debate and presentation sessions about the analysis of cases, experiences and new knowledge in international accident and incident investigation.
Since the first edition, which took place in 2014, JIAAC Sessions have become a unique opportunity to meet with the whole aviation community, with the purpose of gathering ideas, measures and new approaches that translate into proactive Safety policies.
JIAAC’s third Session will take place under the motto “Global vision of Safety investigation” in accordance with the strengthening process of the informal and institutional bonds achieved in the last years with investigation organizations from other countries, as well as with operators, companies, and specialists from the sector at large.
In this sense, representatives of companies such as Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Embraer, ATR and Airbus will participate in the different modules by giving the manufacturers’ view on this topic; there will also be the participation of national aviation officials and authorities, and from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (CLAC); and representatives of each of the accident investigation organizations (AIG) from the region, as well as those from the United States, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and France, Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses (BEA).
The event has been rescheduled to November 11, in Auditorio San Agustín at Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) in Puerto Madero. The conferences will be hol from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, organized in three panels: Authorities and States’ vision; AIG organizations’ vision and Manufacturers’ vision.
